A few days back, we saw Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware certified for the Xperia E1 Dual (D21XX). The KitKat update has now also been certified for the single SIM Xperia E1 (D2004, D2005) in the form of software build number 20.1.A.0.45.
We would expect this new firmware to offer apps to SD card functionality, which was also included in the recent Xperia T2 Ultra KitKat update. We’ll let you know once this firmware starts to roll.
